What statistic-files are supported?
You can upload the following files:
- player-count*.csv – contains data for how many rounds have been registered on the course per month since the course was registered on UDisc
- unique-player*.csv – contains data about how many unique players have been playing the course per month
The “hole score breakdown” data file is currently not supported. If you have ideas on how to visualize that data, please let us know.
Do I have to be a course ambassador?
Yes, that is the only way to get the data out from UDisc. Unfortunately there is no easy way to find out who is the current course ambassador for a course. You can see if there is NO course ambassador for a course though. Go to the course tools and if you see a banner with the text “This course still needs a course Ambassador. Could it be you? Learn more“, then you know there is currently no course ambassador, and since you are here, you might be the right person for the job.
Do I have to upload the files to your server?
No, if you drag/drop the file directly to the chart page, the data files will not leave your computer. You can grab screenshots of the charts in your browser and share the images with friends and family. If you want to be able to share a link to a graph that you can update later, you have a few options. See the Detailed instructions page.
